Looking Closer: A Calmer Way to Experience Digital Photography

Platform Introduction

Most digital images exist only as fleeting glances on a screen. How do we slow down and give photography depth again?

When you zoom into any ordinary photograph, the picture eventually dissolves into plain, uniform squares of color. We built Photomosaic.work to replace those flat dots with living photographs.

How the Workspace Works

The experience is designed to be lightweight, respectful of your privacy, and entirely browser-native:

1. Select Your Centerpiece Choose any picture you care about—a personal portrait, a landmark, or a piece of scenery.
2. Bring Your Photo Collection Add your photos locally from your device or connect via Google Photos. Your images are processed right inside your browser session.
3. True Optical Matching Instead of blurring or overlaying color tints over your memories, the algorithm matches the genuine light and shadow of each picture to complete the canvas.

Try the Interactive Studio

We recently added an interactive magnifying loupe to the landing canvas, allowing visitors to roam across finished compositions and see how each micro-photo fits into the whole.

Explore the canvas or start crafting your own piece today.
